I'm currently using the first to charge my 2019 MacBook Pro on an 87W Apple USB-C power adaptor. No problems so far on the charging. The second of these is currently joining my Mac to the external storage array, and it also works and transfers data exactly as I expected it to. Now I know that this is far from a long-term test. But I've had Apple USB-C "charging" cables delivered DOA and there's no bad smells or intermittent connections.
