Recapping the Storyline that takes Center Stage
The real arc of the X-files concluded in the first three seasons. It had all the Mulder/Skully things in it ANd it really got all the syndicate notions out there. One thing that stayed, however, was an idea about what transpired with regard to the Dogget/Reyes stories. There are Seasons 8/9 and they have one theme, Super Soldiers. One thing to know is that this is in the seasons and you canget it out. Still, it is nice to have it pointed out to you. Some other episodes, like Jump the Shark, are easily confused with this theme but they only reference the idea. They are not the them itself and they do not further it. Also, a timeline comes with the set and it is useful. I liked it with the last 3 as well and I wanted it all conclused. When it is put with the others, it is a pull-out and it ... X files vol 4 super soldiers
Like most who followed X-files in the late 90's, I lost interest after 2000. Now that there are a lack of quality paranormal programming its time to turn the clock back and catch up on what we missed. It is nice to see excellent directing combined w/very skillful acting. Robert Patrick and Anabeth Gish are an excellent addition to the strong team of Mulder and Scully.
