I finally have an elastic close to my skin color that I can use to hold my hat on my head in a windy situation. I just use safety pins to make a strap to go under my chin. When there is no wind, I wear the hat by keeping the elastic inside it on my head. I have men who ask me how I keep my hat on in the wind, but it seems that none of them use beige elastic for their hats.
