Fantastic! So worth the price!
I have bought a lot of knives. This definently ranks in the top 5 for both price and product. The blade itself came sharp and works like a dream. Wore it for three days strait and would forget I had it on. Blade retention is excellent. Had it in the small of my back under my tucked in shirt and it never budged or shifted. I work in car sales and does not dig when in all sorts of vehicle's. Blade is great for out door tasks or emergency self defense. Handle is great! 10/10 would reccomend and just ordered another for my go bag! I have bought a lot of knives. This definently ranks in the top 5 for both price and product. For Every Day Carry
I carry my knife on my weak side or left side and my firearm on my strong side. The curved handle is readily positioned for an immediate draw if required. Wearing a weapon on a person's weakside is not usually encouraged, but for my personal system, the cross draw method works well for me using this type of knife.IThe sheath is not the quality that I would encourage; however, it will be satisfactory for most carriers. The balance of the knife is good for me; the handle fits my hand quite well. I would rate the knife with 5 stars, but the sheath is a barely 4 stars in my opinion. Great value for the money! It is a value deal and all I expected. Works very well and the factory sheath works fine,Too many naysayers on the sheath. If you abuse it, it's your problem. I carry it everyday on my offside and love it's draw ability. I am a lefty so my draw is either crossdraw, or a reverse grip which I like for presentation. You have a fist with the handle in it with the blade on the outside for either a swiping motion or behind the back for stabbing. Highly recommended! I've seen these types of knives for years and have alway brushed them off. I was wrong! This particular KaBar version is highly controllable is close quarters for self defense. When an individual can not carry a firearm (ccw) this your best option. Even when I CCW this is my final backup option. This knife seems to be made of high quality materials and has excellent craftsmanship. I can't recommend it enough. Shalom! Highly recommended!
