this is a really interesting book , it was the first World Cup I can remember. Nice to hear the views of the old players and it puts into perspective the pampered life of current Internationals. Many people will not realise how good a side Wales had during this campaign with such players as Jack Kelsey , Ivor Allchurch and the great John Charles . But for the kicking big John got in the play off game forcing him to miss the Brazil game , the Welsh may have gone through to the semis thus delaying Pele's entry on to the World stage ! Value for money and a real good read !!!this is a really interesting book , it was the first World Cup I can remember.
