Same as current edition, only with original cover.
This is a useful book not only in Malaysia but Indonesia as well, as the two languages are similar. Differences in vocabulary exist, however, and this book focuses on that used in Malaysia and Singapore. Unlike the Indonesian Phrasebook of the same series, this wasn't updated to the new standards Lonely Planet Phrasebooks adopted later in the '00s. As such, while a "newer edition" of the Malay Phrasebook exists, it's nothing more than this same book with a new cover.This is a useful book not only in Malaysia but Indonesia as well, as the two languages are similar.
