About this product

Product Information

The made-for-TV drama I MARRIED WYATT EARP was directed by TV veteran Michael O'Herlihy. Based on the memoirs of Earp's second wife, Josephine Marcus, the film looks at the legendary sheriff from the perspective of his personal life. Josephine was born in San Francisco and traveled east into the rough country hoping to succeed as a singer. There, she met Earp and fell in love with him. As with many tales about the Old West, legend sometimes take precedence over cold fact, but it is the essence of Earp and his relationships that is the film's focus. Marie Osmond and Bruce Boxleitner star as the famous Western couple.

I'm excited! Picked this as a late christmas present for my boyfriend hehee! It came on the first day of ETA, it was packaged with bubble wrap and extra paper. The box said "fragile" on it. It appears to be the authentic thing. I left it in the original plastic because I know my boyfriend will be excited to open it himself! The box set is in mint condition, again, with the original wrap, as it was described. I'm very happy with this seller. Suoer thankful!

I bought this because I am a big Osmond fan. Marie was at her best in this movie from previous movies she made. She did an excellent job. The only thing that I didn't like is that it was more made up than sticking to the truth, but that was ok. She really did such a great job acting. It's now one of my favorites. Some of the other actors were good and some like Allison Arngrim seemed to much like her character from Little House on the Prairie and it seemed forced or faked with her dialogue. Overall though it was great!

  • I Married Wyatt Earp

My husband and I are Wyatt Earp fans so we thought this would be a good piece to add to the collection. This story is supposedly from Josee Earp's point of view and I really enjoy the movie because it has a different, more gentle spin to it, say compared to Tombstone with Kurt Russell, which I thought was more a macho men-type movie. I thought Marie Osmond did a good Josee Earp and Bruce Boxleitner did a good Wyatt Earp as Wyatt was a dark blond lawman of the west.

  • Good Book Bad Movie

Who ever did the script NEVER read the book acting was fine, bad script, bad History!there are so menny mistakes in this script it would take 1 PAGES TO LIST THEM it was a good Idea but not done well, it a shame that such fine actores were wasted in this

  • Real nice autobiography

I really liked Marie Osmond's character of Mrs.Earp. I wished they had done more with her in the movie however. Still it's a nice bit of history & family friendly to watch.
