      High quality transparent sound!!

      Clear, and very easy to listen for long periods of time. Many people claim that the bass isn't there but they don't realize that their previous headphones have serious colored enhanced response whereas these are extremely transparent!! You can hear the bass if you still got hearing left 😆..

      AKG Headphones

      I had AKG 240's years ago and was very happy with them. I prefer listening to music through speakers but it is not always possible. So, I bought these to use at those times when I need to consider others. These 701's are excellent to listen to. The sound dynamics are great, the imaging and separation are distinct and broad with clear crisp bass with the whole thing being light and comfortable. I still prefer my speakers but the AKG 701's are a welcome compromise.

      Amazing for mixing.

      Switched from using the Audio Technica m50x closed backs, which are amazing headphones as well but to my ears a little bass heavy. These are a flatter response with still good bass presence. Very comfortable. Great mixing headphones.

      Reference Quality Redefined :)

      Amazing sounding headphones!!!! Well worth the regular price of 450 dollars, but a steal at only 175!!! Probably the best headphones I have owned since my Sennheiser HD600 many years ago. These I would put at a margin above the Sennheisers, sound airy and detailed with very deep bass response without being boomy. Highly recommend :)

      Best headphones I’ve ever had

      I have gone through a lot of headphones in my time. These are the best I have ever had. Supremely comfortable— I had them on for about 3 hours straight with no discomfort at all. The sound quality is fantastic. Great balance and clarity; nice bass but not too much. If you want to treat yourself (as I did) get a pair of these: you won’t regret it.
