Seller notes: “This is a 1979 Seiko King Quartz Twin in good condition. First introduced in 1979, the caliber 9223 ... “This is a 1979 Seiko King Quartz Twin in good condition. First introduced in 1979, the caliber 9223 followed the first Seiko Grand Quartz. This model was produced until 1985. Its twin quartz compensated for temperature variations and offered a loss of only 20 seconds a year. Light at 49 grams and measures 33.5 x 40 x and a thin 9 mm; it's very comfortable to wear and looks very nice on the wrist. The crystal is scratched in several places and the case and back also show some scratches mostly on the polished surfaces. The dial is white linen with applied stainless indices, logo, Seiko brand and day/date window in Kanji and English. It shows a small mark between the 1- and 2-hour indice. Signed crown. The watch band is leather in very good condition and about 20 cm. The watch is working well without issues and has a new battery. See photos for greater detail. Overall, a good example of this iconic vintage Seiko.”
