High functionality for great price with one bad feature.
This meter is optimum for doing measurements on line input power to various projects. The accuracy is acceptable, but there possibly is a problem with inductive loads with low power factors. For resistive loads it is quite accurate. There is one major downside to the meter. This is a dark front filter on the meter. This makes seeing the digits very difficult in normal room lighting, and no way in outside daylight. Also the filter seems to be polarized so the viewing angle of the display is severely limited unless you are straight on. There is no way to remove the filter. It seems to be an integral part of the LED display itself. If your usage is in a relatively dim room and you can look directly at the meter, go for it!This meter is optimum for doing measurements on line input power to various projects. Accurate
Better than I expected works perfect it also calculates KW usage. I had a heater plugged in for a week using 22.45 KWH @ 13.5 cents per KW = $3.03 and has a reset button to zero usage out. In the photo I have a small fan using 27 watts. Fun project, found a small 3x5 card box in my office; cut holes for the meter & outlet and cord easy to wire.

Nice and handy.
Great little device. I bought it to build a test set to measure the amount of wattage is being used on the devices plugged into my solar generator. I can not go over 1500 watts. I just plug the devices in this test set I made and then I know exactly how much each device wattage will draw so I will not go over 1500 watts.
