I had heard this was a fun series; watched the whole thing in a couple of days and have to admit I laughed out loud quite a few times. It's a show that only lasted part of one season, and yet it's better than a lot of series that have been on for years. It's fun to see a very young Charlie Hunnam in a role that is completely different than his parts in Sons of Anarchy or Pacific Rim. And, if you are a fan of Bones, seeing Carla Gallo in one of her earlier roles is a hoot. The lead, Jay Baruchel, was perfectly awkward and geeky. The rest of the cast, including Seth Rogan, were alright. Overall, I liked it.
Enjoyable series, should have run longer. VERY beginning of episode 3 Jay Baruchel is VERY excited about something-you can't miss his huge bulge thru those loose blue jeans. I mean 'little Jay" is at attention. Oh my!

The half-hour comedy was Judd Apatow's follow-up to his earlier television series Freaks and Geeks, which also lasted for one season. Undeclared centered on a group of college freshmen. Unlike Freaks and Geeks, it was set in the early 2000s rather than the 1980s. It gave a humorous look at the highs and lows of college life, from young adult relationships to the dreaded freshman fifteen. It takes its name from the status of undergraduates who have not yet decided, or "declared," a specific major of study. Both shows had a great cast, which Apatow still works with.
This is hilarious comedy that was canceled way too soon has a great cast reduced by Judd Apatow and is well worth the watch

I'm only a portion of the way through my recent purchase of Undeclared-The complete series and I just love the show. I remember bits of it from when the show was origionally aired in 2001-2002 and watching the DVDs reminds me of how much I loved the show. If you are a fan of Judd Apatow's work (40 year old virgin, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Pineapple Express) you will love this show. I would also recommend looking into the show Freaks and Geeks.
