The album is a musical departure for Bowditch, a new genre she describes as 'political disco', upbeat songs about serious and important issues relating to living in the modern world and being human. Partly recorded in Berlin with legendary producer Mocky (Feist, Gonzales, Jamie Lidell, Peaches) in the almighty famous Hansa studios (Bowie, Iggy, U2), and then finished in Clare's backyard shed by husband Marty Brown, the album carries an aura of the Berlin underground.
