Wonderful wizarding "cookbook" for kids and parents!!
My son checked this out at the library, feel in love with it and was broken hearted when he had to return it so of course I went to eBay to find it! It's a superb book with all sort of crafts and "recipes" for young wizards and witches to entertain themselves on rainy (or even sunny!) days. Most of the ingredients and materials needed for the "potions" recipies are in almost every home and are very easy to understand. The crafts will require a run to any Hobby Lobby or crafts store for acrylic paints and other material such as that. The feel of the book under the dust jacket is almost like a medieval type sorcerer's book and easily gives children the feeling that they are a witch or wizard!! I highly recommend this for any parent who has a Harry Potter fan in the house!!! *Note: Beware the ... Childhood Favorite
I had this book when I was a kid and LOVED it. I was a massive Harry Potter fan and this was the perfect compliment to my collection of magical things. The leather bounding look is really quite beautiful. It really makes you feel like it's your very own spellbook. The quality of the illustrations and stories are gorgeous. Perfect for any kid who's wanted to be a witch or wizard.

A Lot of Fun Ideas
This is the second time I have bought this book for my 15 year old daughter, whose had the book since she was 10 years old. This is her second copy because she took it with her to her friends' houses and on vacations, and anywhere where she could fit it into her bag. The book eventually fell apart and she needed a new one. I asked her why she likes it so much and she said it's interesting and has easy, but neat projects.
