Accurate product description, and quick turn around for processing and shipping. There was a delay due to backlog/workload in USPS, but this delay has nothing to do with Seller (or seller actions), and the seller helped/supported in tracking the package, coordinating/checking with USPS and keeping me posted with updates promptly and answering questions very quick. I would love to wok with the seller again for future products as need arises.

    Awesome!

I love this book and movie. Years ago, in middle school or high, I let someone borrow it. I cannot remember who it was and was devastated to never get it back. I don’t like the new covers so came to my trusty store on eBay! Beautiful condition; hardly looks as if it’s been open. Thrilled to own one of my favorites from King once more.

  • Misery - Wake up Mr. King - Your #1 fan

I don't believe that Misery was quite the Stephen King I expected. The story basically has only 2 main characters. Paul Sheldon, author and victim, and Annie, #1 fan and nurse. This makes it very easy to follow. Paul, has to bring Misery back to life just before she is to be buried. The way King writes this part and tells her story, is Brilliant. As for the way the book was written. You could basically figure out what was going to happen way before the end of the book. This was not the suspense that I was expecting from such a great writer. The book overall kept you wanting more but the suspense was not there.

  • A Horror Classic

Decades ago I missed the boat on this one. Then the movie came out and I needed another decade or so to get that out of my system. The story in the original novel here was far more brutal than the movie. There were some rather convenient plot points that helped speed the story along. However, I won't spoil that for any readers who may be new to the Stephen King experience. Misery was one King's best. Personally, I go in for the paranormal side of King's novels and stories. This one is very much a flesh and blood tale without any of the paranormal. It worked. Annie Wilkes will go down as one of the all-time baddies.

  • Easy to follow. A real page turner!

I have been collecting certain Stephen King novels in hardcover and Misery was difficult to get. The book arrived in good condition. I didn't mind that it was a library book but was surprised to find a card and pouch in the back of the book. It did make me chuckle.

  • Good read

This is one of Stephen King’s best! Couldn’t put it down! Trying to collect all his books in hardcover, this is a first edition also. Thanks!
