Great addition to my arsenal of cameras. Settings are easy to use. The panoramic pictures are great. Occasionally has glare in one lens which is not avoidable. Very useful for yard security. Avoid the 3 shot burst and use the 3 shot triggered setting.

The instruction booklet that comes with the camera is just about useless and setting it up is complicated. The first day I put it out it took 5603 photos and used up 80% of the battery life. It was taking a photo every 5 seconds whether anything moved or not. I went to the Moultrie website after that and found some better instructions. The photo qualities are not as good as the older Moultrie Trace camera. Colors are washed out, for example red shows up as pink, and the night photos are low quality even with it set on the highest resolution. The field of view is 180 degrees where as the older Trace camera was only 150 degrees. The motion detector is fantastic. Nothing gets by it. I've got photos of bugs flying by it. It's well worth what it cost but the photo quality is just not that great.Read full review

These cameras are awesome. Please note I use mine for photos and not video so I can't comment on that. While these units are a little heavy and large they are like having three cameras. If the subject is left right or in front you get the photo. We plan to set ours up for the next family gathering to take photos and then just delete the ones we don't want. The password protection is a bit of an inconvenience as you have to enter it each time you start up or change a sd card but after doing it a few times it is no big deal. Plus the camera is of no use to a thief because without the password it is useless.

This is my second of these cameras, I still use the first one. They are great. They work really good, the pictures are clear, even at night. Moultrie makes the best trail cameras.

Still getting used to the functions. True 180 degree coverage. Divided into three 60 degree angle functions, depending on the area that picks up motion. It covers a lot of area. Tied back to back you could realize almost 360 degree coverage around the stand or maybe a fence row trail. A lot of camera for 79.00. Some what large it needs a good mount tree. The strap holds good. I captured a red hawk with wings spread alighting a branch. Squirrels are the worst culprit to trigger it for a waste of time and data. Highly recommend it as it reduces the number of cameras needed to cover large plots. I am currently using it to catch trespassers.
