Portability is super keen!
So I sort of have all the Ryobi. It's been an obsession of mine that drives my wife nuts. From the backpack spray paint machine that exploded grey all over the garage to the 5 different style vacuum cleaners I now have in Ryobi highlighter green. I have all the Ryobi. When this soldering iron came out along with it's little brother I knew I had to have it. I routinely mucl around in antique cars and not needing an extension cord to fix wires is so nice. I also have no place on my workbench to work since it's so full of vacuum cleaners and battery chargers. With this battery powered iron I can fix LED lights in the kitchen, speakers in the bedroom and headphone also in the kitchen all without worrying about wires. Solid Product at a good price
Product comes as described. It is very useful to have the ability to run off both battery power as well as an extension cord. This allows a lot more versatility from the tool. When powered on the tool heats up to temp quickly.
