    Lightweight on facts, good on music

    I’m actually responding on this from my knowledge of the film, as I’m a fan of Cole Porter’s music, but have not played the dvd yet. I thought the price very reasonable.

    All day long, a winner

    It may be pure fantasy on the life of Cole Porter, but it makes for gorgeous, tuneful and colourful entertainment. This is a fine, spotless copy which emphasises the visual delights. Cary Grant is his usual urbane and irresistible self and the array of magnificent melodies ensure the film remains a collector's item. Just don't even think about the real Porter life story!
