Caution when using Flame Broiler
There is no easy way to open the flame broiler there is no Rod connecting it to the outside where it can be slid open and closed. Tends to be very hot when you have to move that with your hands.

Eh... you get what you pay for...
This is about the product, not the seller!!! I owned a Treager and their quality slipped over the years. So I had an opportunity to upgrade and tried this model. I seriously regret it!! The outside began within a few months and their response is “we don’t cover that!” The rust keeps getting worse (and I bought a cover for it... they don’t give you one). Within the first 6 months, the igniter went out. They sent me another and I changed it out. I’ve had times where it won’t hold temps close to the setting, go high or go low. It gets the job done, at least for now, but I think Traeger makes a better product even though their quality has slipped.This is about the product, not the seller!!! Pain in the butt to put together ,took a few hours. Smoker came without 2 meat probes but after 1 call Pit Boss has already shipped them to me. Only used it twice so far but smoker performs better than expected.

Pit Boss XL1000 Smoker/Grill
I have had mine for about a year. Best - and easiest- smoker I’ve owned. And I’ve owned several. Produced perfect brisket with ‘conversation piece’ smoke ring. Only wish I’d have gotten mine for $425. Oh, it only has 2 casters. The other 2 are regular wheels. I wish all four were casters for easier maneuvering. Still love mine though
