Vintage Porsche 365 restoration in detail for the do-it-yourself rebuilder written by Ron Roland, a professional who has done literally hundreds of 365's over a 30 year career. Ron wrote much of the source material for this book in a column published in the bi-monthly magazine of the national 365 Registry organization. These columns became the Bible for DIY restorers of these cars. Ron fulfilled a promise to redo this work and organize the material from the columns into book form and after 10 years of review, rewriting and editing, has fulfilled his promise.

    Detailed book with diagrams and descriptive articles for Porsche 356 enthisiast.

    Well written, detailed account, complete with diagrams of the many aspects of the Porsche 356 restoration process. Everything I've read so far leads me to believe that the author and editor are expert Porsche 356 restorers with much knowledge and skill. In factI learned that the author is well known throughout the early Porsche owner community. He has been a well respected Porsche authority for years having written many articles that have been published in the magazine known as the 356 Registry. This book is on the must read, must have books of 356 ownership. If you are thinking of buying a 356 that needs work, read this book first.
