Released in 2012, the Wii U is the sixth home console by the company. One of the distinguishing features of the Wii U is its controller, the Wii U GamePad. This GamePad combines an analog stick, traditional buttons, a gyroscope, and a touchscreen into one device. This second screen gives developers the flexibility to add unique features to games for the system. For example, in "NBA 2k13," the screen allows you to call out plays with the tap of a finger quickly. In "Nintendo Land," the screen gives you additional information about the current game. You can also transmit gameplay directly to this secondary screen. For example, if someone else wants to use the television, configure the Wii U to display the game on the GamePad instead. The Wii U is a Nintendo home console that outputs high-definition graphics. The HD graphics mean that your Nintendo video games look incredible when you play them. For example, in "New Super Mario Bros. U," you notice details on both the heroes and villains. Games like "Pikmin 3" explode off the screen in a splash of color and vibrancy. With 2GB of RAM and a graphics card based on the Radeon R700, there is a lot of power in this little box. The Deluxe model comes with 32GB of hard drive space built directly into the device. This storage space is enough to house over 10 digital titles and 200 saved games. If you find yourself needing additional hard drive space, insert an SD card into the device.
