Misleading description. Item described as brand new and sealed but the box was opened and the motherboard placed in a used antistatic bag. Seller said this was done to verify content but why do that if the box is sealed? The bios was also locked and required flash update to use with 5600X CPU which is compatible with the MoBo. Because of the above, I am not convinced the item was new and never used. Requested partial refund which had been ignored.

The 5600X was released 2 years after the X570 platform, so of course the motherboard would not support it without a bios update. This is very common known step with this platform, the fact that you could not determine this proves 2 things. Firstly the motherboard had to be brand new since the bios update had not been done. Secondly, you clearly have no idea what you are doing and should not be blaming other people for that. You are clearly a noob, and proceeded to blackmail a refund.

What can I say. Excellent Seller. Product was brand new and sealed as per description. Box was perfect condition and all accessories intact and untouched. Bios version was out of date as can be expected for a 3 year old motherboard. Installed a 2700X and updated to latest, no problems. Installed a 5950X and this thing runs like a beast. 12357 multicore, 2205 single core on a dark rock pro.

Thank you for the honest feedback. Unfortunately other buyers of this same item took it upon themselves to leave negative feedback because they were unable to install a 5000 series CPU out of the box. Of course you know as does any reasonable computer builder, this isn't the case. The right upgrade path is, as you did, a 2000 or early 3000 series CPU first to upgrade to the latest bios before then installing the 5000 series. Thanks again. Excellent Buyer, Highly Recommended!
