A truly magnificent Danny Boyle opening ceremony that eclipses every other opening ceremony before it. Then the stars and newcomers to the challenge that awaits them is a fantastic coming together of the very best of humanity to stand up for the challenge , the excitement and the glory of releasing the training, the pain and the power of competing against each other for the glory of showing the world what awaits them. Both competitors and onlookers too, I cannot recommend this highly enough to anyone who wants to relive the pain and the ecstasy of competing in the worlds most prestigious sporting event that the world has to offer.A truly magnificent Danny Boyle opening ceremony that eclipses every other opening ceremony before it. Great piece of historic value
Well worth the money. I got mine so the younger grandchildren can look at this historic event. Opening and closing ceremonies are outstanding. It changed the face of the lee valley and surrounding area, beautifully documented well worth the price. Grab a little piece of history while you can.

If you are a competitor in any sport or just an armchair athlete then this DVD has something for you. From the fantastic opening ceremony with the drummers and and the fireworks to the parade of competitors and the closing ceremony and everything in between. See the worlds best at their best. The ups and downs of everyone that took part in this spectacular event.
