Works like a charm!
This is the real deal. It's the right cable and works perfectly. If you're having trouble, remember that the APC devices don't like Prolific chipset USB-to-serial cables. Get one with a FTDI chipset.

Makes it easy to program an APC Power Distribution Unit. May work with other brands of pdus and equipment. I was having difficulty setting up my pdu before I had one of these cables.
