About this product

Product Information

Inspired by author Karyn Bosnak's novel 20 TIMES A LADY, director Mark Mylod's freewheeling comedy tells the tale of one hopelessly single women who's convinced she's passed up the man of her dreams. Upon reading a magazine article that leaves her dejected about her future marriage prospects, Ally Darling (Anna Faris) begins to fear that one of her many ex-boyfriends may have been "the one that got away." Now, with a little help from her mischievous neighbor (Chris Evans), Ally is paying a visit to each of her exes in order to reel in the perfect catch.

  • What's Your Number? (Blu-ray Disc, 2012)

I really thought I was going to hate this movie. The trailers made it look like one of the year's worst movies, and I was prepared to add it to my list of The Worst Films of 2011. The truth is that I was pleasantly surprised by the movie and am happy to report that I smiled more often than I scowled, chuckled more often than I groaned, and actually felt satisfied when it all ended. After all of the nasty, so-called artsy fare I've sat through lately, a movie like What's Your Number was refreshing, if only because it was so upbeat and cheerful. Yes, it's cliched, and if you don't see the ending coming, you haven't been watching enough movies; but, when a movie contains such good will, what's the harm in kicking back and enjoying it?
