It could have been better
Muddy Waters Got My Mojo Working is a great option but only if you are a die hard Blues fan. As good as the DVD is, it could have been a lot better, provided there was a little effort to remix the music better. There is no effort to add to the existing tracks. Every song seems as if it is being played in a tin can. However, if you are a die hard Muddy Waters fan like me, then you are going to enjoy this one for sure. It has 12 songs, each of which offers excellent performances. The DVD is an excellent 54 minute compilation. The good part is that this DVD does offer rare performances of the legend as promised. The video footage has been pulled out of live performances. Even though the video footage is quite mediocre, it does bring alive some of the rare yet finest performances. The sound ... Had the remixing been a little better, this DVD would have fared much better. Nevertheless, if you are a diet hard Muddy Waters fan, opt for this one right away.
