Purchased this phone for my mom who is clueless about technology. Phone is pretty user friendly and easy to manipulate without a user manual. This phones does not require a data package and is great for talk and texting. I would recommend this phone compared to what they are selling in AT&T stores.

I wanted a phone where I could easily text. The phone arrived with no instructions and I finally accessed instructions through AT&T. I was informed this phone is more complex than a smart phone which I was afraid I wouldn't be able to use. I am still learning and I do like the key board. It just takes me a long time to find what I want. It also seems to cut off my voicemail. I will master it yet! Never quit!I wanted a phone where I could easily text. Great phone... But battery life could be much better.
I already owned one these previously and dropped it in water, so I figured buying another would be easier since I had owned items that fit it. Its a good pone, easy to use aps. decent screen size, three backgrounds to seperate aps for easier use. The keyboard was a great help since I tend to text close to a thousand messages a day, and the touch screen is a great function. Only problem I have is the battery life. I returned the original but it didnt matter, so to fix my problem I bought an extra battery to carry as a back-up. Not the best solution but it worked.I already owned one these previously and dropped it in water, so I figured buying another would be easier since I had owned items that fit it. Nice touch screen texting phone if Android and iphone aren't your thing.
I just bought my second Flight 2 due to the phone speaker totally dying out two weeks after the warranty expiring. I had to answer all calls through the speaker phone. I still had another 10 months on my AT and T contract so I decided to get another one before I switch providers. The phone itself is pretty nice if you are looking for a touch screen with a slide out qwerty keyboard. I can't tell you about internet usage, because I don't have a data package for the phone. The phone also works well as an mp3 player. I use a 16gb sd card so it can handle a ton of music. The camera is very basic. It isn't a feature you would buy this phone for. The Flight II is semi-smart but doesn't require a data plan. So you can keep your costs down, especially if you have other devices to use with wifi or a non-phone data provider. I owned this model for 4 years and wanted the same one when I recently lost it. To my surprise, my contacts were retrieved from ATT storage.
