Fiddly and flimsy
Peco really should know better. Something this detailed and strictly to scale should be made in brass, not thin, brittle plastic, that breaks as you detach it from the sprue, or just as you handle it. This kit is fiddly and flimsy, definitely not for the beginner, or, indeed for the average male hands either. The plastic wheelsets are, as always, best replaced with metal ones, but, in any event, if you don’t get the assembly absolutely spot on, the axles won't be long enough and they will drop out of the frame. Frankly, I'm seriously unimpressed.Peco really should know better.
