    Perfect!

    It took me a while but I finally got it to work with the demo sketches. A simple demo with shapes and strings requires around 5200bytes on a Uno (original). The screens takes around 500ms to perform a clear screen and 4s to load a BMP from the card (tested with HC SD card). The included fonts aren't pretty but the shield also works with Adafruit libraries at the cost of twice the needed memory space. Viewing angles are what you'd expect from a TFT. The screen is best used vertically (because backlight comes from the short side near the ICSP connectors). Touch functionality tested OK. The protective film had signs suggestive of factory testing. On this one, the "QC PASS" seal is real! Buy it!
