    The last of a great band

    5 stars here, this release ranks right up there with classic Scorpions material. It is a clever, very well done cross between old and new (think a cross between Humanity Hour 1 & Lovedrive). The production is crisp and clear and Klaus hits the notes like a champ, and as always Rudolph's guitar work is just a great as ever. Its so hard to believe that after 4+ decades this band is still going strong and committed to new releases and touring. They say that this will be their final studio release, and I guess time will tell. You don't have to be a life-long fan of the Scorp's to dig this new sound, I'd imagine that almost anyone who likes any kind of hard rock n roll will like this sound. Its heavy in all the right places, melodic and fresh.

    "Rock'n'Roll never die!"

    With the new CD "Sting in the tail", the group "Scorpions" a grand farewell - CD published for your fans! Klaus Meine distinctive and unique good voice this album rocks. Heavy rock - songs and beautiful ballads resulting 12 songs on this CD. My favorite song is "The good die young". Track list, according to Cover: "1. Raised on Rock 2. Sting in the tail 3. Slade me 4. The good die young 5. No limit 6. Rock Zone 7. Lorelei 8. Turn you on 9. Let's rock! 10. Sly 11. Spirit of Rock 12. The best is yet to come " Too bad that will be the last CD of this great German band! "Rock'n'Roll never die!" Thanks for your vote! Greatings from Germany!

    scorpions sting in the tail...

    A fantastic album, and would have been potentially a number 1 hit-record back in the 80's. Going to see them live in Los Angeles soon, and hope they sound as good as the CD!
