The Honeywell T10 is one of the current full-featured touchscreen thermostats. The touchscreen interface is responsive and reasonably well thought out and the light color scheme goes well against a light colored wall. Temperature control is comfortable and unobtrusive with one caveat.... the T10, like most Honeywell digital thermostats , use small relays to control the heating and cooling systems. These relays produce a light “click” noise once upon starting the heat or cooling, and once upon shutdown of the system. If the thermostat is near a bedroom or a quiet area, this can be annoying. It is quieter than some other thermostats, but not as quiet as some other brands which are silent. Oddly, the T10 and its less-featured sister the T9 cannot be used with Honeywell’s old TCC app. The new Honeywell Home app works well enough though.Read full review

I had nearly the same experience that joeljenerin had with his T10 Pro thermostat. I replaced a T6 Pro thermostat to obtain the remote-sensor feature. After about a month, the T10 Pro shorted out and caused the 3-amp low-voltage fuse to blow in my rooftop package heat pump. After checking the low-voltage wiring for shorts and with the T10 Pro removed, I replaced the fuse and low-voltage circuit worked fine. The moment I reattached the T10 Pro thermostat, the new fuse blew. I had to replace the T10 Pro with the old T6 Pro thermostat which works fine. NOTE that Honeywell refused to handle a warranty claim for the broken T10 Pro thermostat. This model is sold through contractors and purchasers must go through a contractor to get a broken one replaced; Honeywell won't do it like, presumably, it would for consumer models. I chatted with Honeywell's Martha Alejandra representative who refused to handle a warranty claim.Read full review

Good replacement for my old antiquated thermostat. I like the wifi feature. The fact that it senses when no one is home and lowers the temp for heat or raises it for cool to save energy should save some energy. The geo fencing feature is nice as well.

I had a functioning Honeywell thermostat with the same wiring that worked well, but I wanted the features the T10 offered. After hooking up the T10, it blew the internal 3amp low voltage fuse in the air handler. After double checking the wiring, I tried again and the fuse blew again. I hooked up the previous thermostat and it worked fine (and uses all the same wires/co figuration for 2h/2C heat pump). Trying a third time with the t10, the fuse blew again. Back to the old thermostat.

Best thermostat made. The t10 or t10 pro isnt for DIY(t9 is). T10 is more for advanced users such as contractors, keep this in mind when purchasing.
