Secret agent James Bond battles the all-enveloping tentacles of an international crime syndicate called SPECTRE. The organization's mad plan for world supremacy unfolds with the icy efficiency of a chessmaster's complex strategy, and if they succeed, the antagonism of the cold war will be pushed from deep-freeze to the supernova of atomic oblivion. Our man Bond dispatches sultry spies, madmen, and double agents with the same coolness he displays while downing martinis and making love to beautiful blondes. In this, the second of the series, Bond travels to Turkey to meet a mysterious Russian woman who claims to have fallen in love with his photograph. She offers him a secret translating device if he will join her, although he does not know that she has been put up to the task by Rosa Klebb, formerly of the KGB, who has gone to work for SPECTRE. It's Bond's assignment to get the girl and the machine back to England - and to do it, of course, in style.

Arrived in poor condition. Due solely to the negligent lack of any packaging. Just placed in a grey plastic bag. Not good enough and showed complete lack of respect for the buyer and product. I asked for a new case to replace cracked one just offered partial refund or " return". Had me over a barrel as the CD is very hard to source and isn't cheap. So had no choice but to accept the partial refund. Not happy at all! Poor service in every regard.

    Great film.

    A film that I have seen many times before. They are using different trains, to represent the one train that the characters are on. The train of that standing would not have wooden freight vans, on the back of it, and then they are using BR. Southern Region Mark 1 Coaches, as the train from Istanbul to Trieste.

    From Russia with love.

    Another Bond film with argueably the best Bond ever,Sean Connery. This film also stars Robert Shaw(Jaws) as the nemesis of Bond,a character called Grant. Compared to the other Connery Bond films this one is different in that there is a shortage of gadgets. The director has instead focused his energies on producing a film concerned more with the development of the characters rather than the usual gadgets. What you get from this is one of the more solid Bond films from Connerys career as James Bond. Shaws portrayal of Grant is also great because he brings more to the role having already been an established actor. If you only purchase a small amount of the Bond collection I would recommend this title be among them.
