A Brilliant Album
According to the sleeve notes, when this concert was being recorded the engineer, who was using the Pye mobile recording studio, kept fiddling with the controls and as a result John Entwistle's bass was missing from the original recording. Thanks to the expertise of Bob Pridden and his crew, they were able to painstakingly transpose the bass from from "Live at Leeds" onto the Live at Hull recordings. The result is that this is a fantastic album. I personally prefer it to Live at Leeds. Keith Moons drumming particularly sounds amazing. I would thoroughly recommend this CD. The Who at their absolute best!

Who live at Hull
For a live who recording in 1970 live at Hull compares very well with at Leeds. Hull's audience were more subdued and some tracks were played slightly different from at Leeds Pete Townshend on guitar sounded great!! Along with john Entwistle on bass Keith moon's drums resonated really well along with Roger daltreys vocals with Pete and John's backing! Must have been a memorable night for the audience.
