    Works quite well with a light point and shoot.

    If you pay attention to what your doing this little tripod works great when used with a typical point and shoot camera. I use my Canon SX 160 IS with it and have no problems with stability. It also has a quick release plate which I find handy. The legs once adjusted stay put and I can get my shot.
