    This is because I am new to building a bike (handcycle).

    The shifter is awesome. Again, I am new to this.... I love this shifter. It is so easy to change the cable, and compatible with my particular brake lever with a tiny mod. Absolutely a massive upgrade to my low end barrel 7 speed shifter. This works perfectly with my 11 speed cassette upgrade on its new upgraded wheel. Once I get my long cage rear derailleur this will be awesome. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade. Just note it does pair perfectly with certain models of levers as shown in the description. This is really gorgeous looking.

    Nice shifter

    Upgrading from 2011 deore level shifter to this, and it is much crisper shifting. I like the positive feel of the levers and solid feel. Highly recommend. Spend a long time debating to buy I spec B version, or clamp. Im happy with decision of this clamp version as it has the gear indicator and really doesn't weigh any more (like 6 grams I believe).
