      Able to split antennas with cable & withstands the sun/rain.

      Is in an outside location and has withstood rain and sunshine for 1 month and no problems. Working when connected to a PoE CISCO switch (without the supply PoE power source), which makes it very helpful. We have also used a 10m extension cable for one of the "ears" so we can cover both sides of the staircase which protrudes outside the house. ie. one access point serving two discontinuous areas that cannot "see" each other. Seems to be working OK, although the signal strength reduced maybe 25% when we separated the two "ears".

      They just work

      It's a relatively cheap mesh system that just seems to work. It's not the latest WiFi standard but it still does everything I need for the price. The complication is that you need the Omada app to configure the units if you have more than on and are using them as remote access points but that was pretty easy to do. I installed 4 units for a friend who was having a lot of WiFi problems and they fixed it for him. Liked it so much that I installed a couple around my place which has improved my WiFi inside and outside.

      Does what it says

      This outdoor wifi extender really does do what it says. My outdoor wifi covers my whole back garden now.Better rhan I was expecting. Its also stabilised my ip cameras so no more drop outs in recording. Very good investment.

      Value for money

      Amazing performance for such price. I get 40% signal strength at 45m behind 1 enclosed wall. And with 3 walls and low mount like on a table, I get 30% strength at 35m. If you mount higher at open plain you might get that claimed range.
