      Bad helper spring bad HELP

      Ordered leaf spring helper for 2o17 Chevy colorado zr2 can't install because of mixed match parts took 3 messages before l got a reply when had to threaten with a review still nothing after a few more messages who now's if they are the right helper springs do not recomend this company for anyone sells mixed matched parts how hard is it to replace them this company is a joke think twice before ordering

      Just what I needed

      Easy installation. I did I did file the edge of 4 washers to clear the factory spring clips. Be careful to start the fine thread nuts correctly on the u bolts. I used these to replace some “coil over shock” helper springs on my Safari van. On these vans, the shocks are at quite an angle (factory designed to reduce wheel hop), but that means a lot of force on the helper shock mounting eyes. The upper mounting eyes ovaled out in about a month of driving and and couldn’t be tightened enough to stop the clunking noise on ever bump in the road. My point is, coil over style helpers are a poor choice for vehicles with steeply angled shocks. Use the Helwig product!
