    Cobra PowerFlo upgrade produced significant gains

    The Cobra PowerFlo Air Intake System has optimized my V-Twin performance. The venturi and ram air design is effective. It is the final piece in a Stage 1 tuning. After a custom ECU flashing it is the greatest contributor to a 19% increase in HP and a 15% increase in Torque. This intake was added to match the Cobra Speedster exhaust system. This intake has changed the exhaust note of the engine to a deeper, more defined tone and pulse. It's amazing how getting enough air/fuel mixture to your engine helps performance. Just having a high flow air filter in the stock air box did nothing. After timing and throttle control are optimized, the intake improvement is the greatest factor in Torque and Horsepower gains.
