A witty satire of the expat experience in rural Europe and antidote to every 'wish-you-were-here' travel memoir, this novel is entertainment in its purest form.     Dark humor done well

    Very dark, very funny! After reading a hundred or so pages I was not surprised to discover this is the first book of a trilogy.
