    Perfect replacement

    Very easy plug-n-play replacement for my defective XM unit. If Cadillac wasn't so determined to make components almost impossible to replace, this would have been a 10-15 minute procedure. I highly recommend purchasing unlocked/new units as the cost is about the same as used and you don't have to go to Cadillac/GM to have it unlocked to function properly with your vehicle. Cadillac/GM - why theft-lock an item that is so difficult to reach in the vehicle? The xm module mounted on the top side of the frame under the package shelf requires removal of the rear seat and back, the side airbags, and the package shelf to reach. The Bose amplifier takes about 2 minutes to get to, also requiring access to the trunk, and it has no theft deterrents at all. Hard to figure but this part was perftec
