    Better than expected

    I needed functioning joystick controllers (not looking for vintage nor original) and when arrived they were like new. After testing with the Atari console and checking they work OK, I proceeded to disassemble them in order to clean them with Dawn (dish wash soap) and water (the packaging was probably reused and had some perfume smell that would not go away). I was surprised by the he circuit board, which is not like the pictures of the vintage boards, specially the pressure switches (not micro switches either). Since there is no brand name other than the Atari logo, I suppose these are a later variation of the original although it could be these are knock-offs. Anyway, they look well built and reasonably sturdy and most important, they work and I'm happy with them. Thank you!

    I bought a Atari console!!! It came with cheap rebuild controllers my husband played one time and broke it I played the other one it lasted a day my son got on and broke it. We took it apart it’s made out of plastic so I’m buying these I hope I don’t have to buy any more I’m so excited to play my MS PAC-MAN!!!!

    Nice clone of the CX-40

    These clones have a good feel and resemble the "feel" of the original quite closely. The classic CX-40 joystick produced by Atari did not have a good build quality. Only time will tell if these clone joysticks stand up better than the original.
