    CGI SiFi drama

    When Battlestar Galatica ended all the sets and props were sold. For a spin off to be done the sets had to be generated in a computer using green screen. There is an interesting Special Features clip describing how this was done. Every thing in the movie, except the actors, their clothing, and foreground props the actors would handle, was CGI. (Knives, weapons, computer tablets etc.) The Battlestar's flight deck, repair & assembly stations for Vipers, was very high quality CGI. Even smoke from welding repairs was CGI. This allowed much more detail than a budget for the sets could. This is a 90 minute offering which was never picked up as a series. There are blank screen breaks between the movie segments which were for TV commercials, and stations to ID. Special Features has ...

    Dam is that good
