A 'must have' item these days
No sooner had I bought this item when I got "right hooked" by a pickup truck pulling a trailer. I march into the police station armed with the video playback and there's no question. Driver was erratic. I can't prove he was drunk but I can prove he broke the law. Cops issue a ticket and I go my merry way. If you drive in traffic at all, conflicts with cars are a way of life. And when it's their word against yours, the driver always wins. That's the way cops are wired. So to be able to prove you didn't run that red light. Or better, to prove that the car did. That's worth a lot. Also, this same company makes a front facing camera with a 400 lumen headlight which I highly recommend. I can review and edit the video footage with my phone so it's even easier to manage.

don't leave home without it
I've been riding & racing since the mid-80's and until recently I would never consider riding with a camera or light. That changed a couple years ago when a friend was hit by a car. I purchased the Fly 6 and have been super happy. records great video, the flashing light is great and battery length is very good (5 hours or better). About 6 months after I purchased my Fly 6 I was hit by a car and once the insurance company learned I had the accident on video they settled without question. The insurance replaced my bike, pedals, & kit without hesitation or having to get a lawyer involved. Since then I've also added the fly 12 on front and it is a great camera as well.

This thing is awesome!
This camera/light combo is every bit as awesome as it sounds! The battery is super long, and with the looping recordings, you never have to worry about the memory card (included!) being full. If I'd known about this before I got my GoPro, I would have saved myself $400 and just bought this.
