    Wonderful Oval and CIrcle Mat Cutter

    A wonderful piece of equipment for the artist; the Logan 201 mat cutter is easy to use and cuts pro quality mats. I did a few test runs and then cut a perfect mat. Make sure to use a new blade after you have practiced a bit.

    Not as easy as it looks

    The three step cutter is definitely a learning experience. I think for my first project I went through about five mat boards until I got a good cut. If you are patient and not afraid of using a little elbow grease, you will eventually succeed.

    A good product for the hobby mat maker

    This is more of a hobbyist tool, I think, so it works well with my small set-up. It is a bit awkward to use at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy as pie. Make sure that you use a scrap board beneath the board you're cutting, otherwise the mat cut won't be clean.
