"Kindred: The Embraced" is a prime-time drama by Aaron Spelling that revolves around the lives of the clan-based vampire society of San Francisco. This drama series was inspired by the role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade by Mark Rein Hagen. "Kindred: The Embraced" follows the lives of vampires who roam the streets of San Francisco disguised as humans. Mark Frankel plays the lead-role in this three-disc set as Julian Luna, who along with San Francisco Police Detective Frank Kohanek (C. Thomas Howell) keeps a check on the occasional outburst between the clans. "Kindred: The Embraced" also sensitively portrays Julian falling in love with a human editor. Kindred The Embrace TV Show
This shows has a good story but too bad it only came out with one season due to unfortunate circumstances. I would have loved to see how the show would developed more in the second season. I hope that there will be a remake of this show in the near future. If you're a fan of vampire or thriller movies, than this will be right up your alley.

Surprisingly watchable
I got it for the wife as she was a fan of the show back in the day. This sort of show normally isn't my speed but it's not half bad and unlike similar shows, doesn't simply come off as a bad LARP session.
