Very pleased
I highly enjoy this product. The pot keeps coffee warm for half a day or so without the use of a hot plate. In addition, if you pre-heat the pot with hot water prior to brewing, it extends this time. I don't bother with that, as I mostly use this for coffee in the morning, but you are able to do so if you wanted to sit coffee throughout the day. The grind is consistent and of sufficient finest, the unit is easy to clean overall, and the program function works perfectly. The only complaint I have would be the design of the carafe, causing awkward pouring for the last half cup, or so, of coffee. I'm sure this was in compromise to maintain a good insulation in the design, and you can still get at that last little bit if you truly want, so I do not take away a star for this. a super easy workaround is to brew an extra half cup of coffee, and not worry about getting it out of the pot at the end. Not worth the price!
The grinder only grinds one grind wastes coffee beans. No matter how many cups you set in on it will brew until it’s empty of water. The thermal pot is awkward to pour from and no way to close it so it does not hold heat. It’s hard to open and clean. The beeper don’t beep when finished brewing. The grinder itself is very hard to clean and exceptionally loud when grinding. The display does not light up so you can’t see without a flashlight on it directly. Worst purchase I’ve ever made. I would feel guilty selling it to anyone wouldn’t even give it to my worst enemy. Just put it on a shelf to remind me not to buy another Cuisinart product. Great tasting coffee
The coffee is strong enough even set on the lowest setting and tastes great. The carafe keeps the coffee warm for hours and the 12 cup capacity is very convenient. The only down side is how loud it is while grinding the beans. It sounds like a stock car has fired up in my kitchen. I have never owned a grind and brew before so I have nothing to compare it to. This 12 Cup Cuisinart Coffee maker makes great coffee.Does not have gold filter and only a couple white filters. You need to order filters separately, but that okay. Excellent Coffer Maker
It is an excellent coffee maker... grinds the beans up completely and makes excellent coffee. It does require cleaning and I do that once a week... not hard to do... Quick shipping
I was happy about the shipping happening so quickly, Item is as stated and does work. It does not heat my coffee the way I prefer but, I understood that to be an issue with this particular model. I am fine with the purchase. Update: Had a few issues with the grinder vibrating loose. I tightened the knob and it works wonderfully now! This is a great purchase. I suggest it for anyone who loves fresh ground coffee. I had another Cuisinart that you would have to clean the grinder and everything after each pot of coffee. It was horrible. Love the "burr" grinder!
Love that you can put enough coffee in the hopper for 3 days! Burr grinder is so much better! Makes great coffee! The insulated pot does not keep the coffee warm very long. Great coffee, high maitenance
I had a Keurig and loved it but it was expensive to use coffee. This coffeemaker makes fabulous coffee and brews quickly. I don't like how much work it is to prepare a cup of coffee. Great idea, poor performance design
This is the second time I have purchased this model. The first one the tube to the water tank broke. Machine is very hard to clean. A lot of places to clear in the grinder. Heavy & awkward to turn on its side to clear out the shutes. You have to have small long brushes. Great Product, but it has built-in Obsolescence
This is our second purchase of the DHB-900BC/C and our SIXTH Cuisinart coffee maker over the past 10 years. They seem to have a built-in obsolescence that is very irritating. However, we love the thermal pot, which is far better than a glass decanter sitting on a heating plate, which causes coffee to get rancid within a couple of hours of brewing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
