    Basic and easy to install water heater timer

    This is an easy water timer to install. There are several videos how to do it, but the diagrams that are in the unit are easy to read. I especially like the little light that indicates whether the heater is on and I like the white button that can turn the heater on and off in addition to the preset times. The timer is a good value and an excellent way to reduce electric bills especially in those areas with expensive electricity.

    Dependable, simple and easy to use

    I have used this model on my water heater and my pool pump now for several trouble free years. I recently ordered and installed one on my brothers water heater as well. The indicator light lets you know at a glance when power is being sent to the water heater. The external push button switch allows for safely turning the power on or off as desired. The mechanical clock mechanism is robust and, in my opinion, is less susceptible to damage from power surges than electronic digital clocks. While it's true that digital models offer more programming options, I contend that dependability trumps flexibility.

    Simple to wire

    Replaced 22 yr. old timer (same brand but different name), so all I had to do was rewire new one same as old one. Box showed lots of edge wear but have no idea how old the unit is or why "wear/tear" on box.

    Will save you a few dollars a month on electric cost, pay for itself in a year. Easy to hook up and mount. Extends the life of the water heater.

    Only timer I will ever use for my water heater, easily adjustable with several settings if you buy extra pins. Very quiet timer motor, no loud humming. Push button for instant on and off if desired A+A+A+
