    The Devil's Backbone, Cronos, and Pan's Labyrinth will all scare you!

    Del Toro views the horror genre as inherently political, explaining, "Much like fairy tales, there are two facets of horror. One is pro-institution, which is the most reprehensible type of fairy tale: Don't wander into the woods, and always obey your parents. The other type of fairy tale is completely anarchic and antiestablishment." So, what can i say about these 3 films? 'Pan's Labyrinth' is just phenomenal, 'The Devil's Backbone' is also fantastic, and 'Cronos' is much than than your run-of-the-mill Hollywood attempt at anything similar.

    Great box set, classic Del Toro. Have been wanting to watch Cronos for a while and always good to watch Pans Labyrinth again. Looking forward to watching Devils Backbone.
