Uninterested in his surroundings, he found himself wondering aimlessly about his newfound existence when he caught a glimpse of a young woman hiking in a scene taking place outside his realm. Jonathan asked her significance to his grandparents who were watching the events unfolding outside. She's our friends' granddaughter, his grandmother said to him and he went away.Going against a warning given, he somehow is able to cross the dimension back into a limbo of physical existence. But he's no longer a human being and becoming one again would be an impossible undertaking. Undaunted, he prevails and soon after, briefly runs into Eve Anne, the young woman his grandparents had been keenly observing before, a fact that didn't escape him. Struck by her beauty, he couldn't get her off his mind. Soon after witnessing a crime he's marked for death by the hit men who want to silence him at any cost. As he finds himself fighting for his life from an unlikely foe, he's forced to run in a relentless chase that takes him from the States, through Europe and Central America. Fortunately, he finds an unexpected ally that would change his life forever. In the end, he realized he couldn't change fate, at best he could circumvent the path leading to it, but the final destination would be the same.
