      Thunderbolt 3 Rocks!

      works as advertised perfectly. I have 2 monitors, wireless headset in usb, scanner via usb, laser printer via usb, a google mesh puck via ethernet, wireless mouse, wireless keyboard... and they all work flawlessly. I have room for 1 more monitor too...(someday I'll do that). I love that I can simply turn off the laptop from the windows screen, then everything goes dark. Unplug the laptop (that is under constant charge - I have it set to top out at 90% charged to save over charging of the battery... One thing I need to mention is that you MUST turn off laptop before re-connecting to docking station or the wireless peripherals will not work when reconnecting the laptop. I love the 1 thunderbolt wire to make everything come alive... not a bunch of wires coming off my laptop. BTW, I also ...

      doesn't work consistently with my set-up. Having to restart Carbon PC &/or plug and unplug monitros hoping will cooperate. No Power Delivery, so still have to run power supply to the PC.

      Second one for home office...

      After working from home for 9 months I finally went back to the office. There are still times I need to work from home and I didn't want to take the doc back and forth so I purchased another one for the home office. It's great and it fully supports my 3 monitor setup at home and the world monitor setup at work with no problems.

      One plug and ready to go

      Firstly, I bought this specific dock because it was the only one I could confirm online was compatible with my (Ideapad) laptop. Other docks are less expensive or offer different features, but this one has the most important feature of dual display outputs for my computer! I like that it has an always-on USB, meaning I can charge my headphones even while my laptop is unplugged. I wish the dock could be powered exclusively over the Thunderbolt connection: since my laptop can't charge over Thunderbolt (laptop incompatibility, not the dock), it would be helpful to me to not have to plug the dock into its own outlet! Overall, I am pleased with the dock, even if it is pretty expensive.
