After reading all of the reviews, I had high expectations but too similar to the Peterson books to be of much value. Was looking for something different. A must have book for Bird Watchers.
Wonderful photos and descriptions, that help me identify new birds in the forest and along my shore walks. I snap a photo with my phone and compare the pictures when I get home. I have learned a great deal from this book. A Must have if you are a bird watcher, or a backyard bird feeder. Useful with good pictures and descriptions.
This is a good guide. The pictures are good and the type size and style are readable. It is worth having. I suggest you take a look at the Collins guide as I find it easiest to use due to excellent and detailed illustrations.
